  • Ted has a passion to see wealth created in the developing world. He believes that sustainable poverty reduction will only be achieved when economies grow and can independently support their citizens. A native of California, Ted knows that his “neighbors” include every man, woman, and child God has created on earth.

Ted holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The King’s College in New York City, where he was the President of the Student Body. After college, Ted spent several years managing a division of R.W. Beckett Corp., a manufacturing company in the US. He then transitioned to East Africa where he worked for Innovations for Poverty Action managing operations for a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation project in Western Kenya. Now, with the Mango Fund, he hopes to see developing economies grow rapidly through private investment in industries that will create lasting value.
