Gerald is a Ugandan entrepreneur who owns and manages a paint manufacturing business located in Central Uganda. His company produces and distributes a wide range of high-quality paint products, including automotive paints, metal paints, and house paints, packaged in various volumes to meet different market needs.

The product line includes specialty paints such as acrylics, synthetics, gloss, cellulose, and emulsion paints. Gerald sources key raw materials both locally and internationally, importing essential inputs from countries such as Kenya, Egypt, and China, while procuring other supplies from local suppliers in Central Uganda.

Despite steady growth, the business faced operational challenges due to an outdated manual paint mixer, which frequently broke down and caused production bottlenecks and delayed deliveries.

To address this challenge, Gerald approached Mango Fund in July 2025, sought support, and successfully received it to acquire a new commercial paint mixing machine. This investment will enable him to eliminate production delays, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen his business’s capacity to meet growing local and regional demand.
