Moses and Joseph are the entrepreneurs behind a construction company established in 2015 and, strategically located in northern Uganda. The business specializes in concrete products such as pavers, culverts, curbstones, fence poles, louvres, blocks, and latrine slabs, produced using raw materials like sand, cement, and aggregates.

Before partnering with Mango Fund, the company lacked a culvert-making machine and relied on manual production, which was tedious, time-consuming, and often fell short of quality standards. With a loan from Mango Fund in 2022, the client acquired a Spiral Culvert Pipe Extrusion Making Machine. This investment streamlined production, improved quality, boosted revenue, and created jobs.

In response to rising demand for their concrete products particularly blocks, pavers, and louvres they recognized the need for a dedicated machine for custom paver production. While the company already owned a semi-automated paver and block machine, it could no longer meet their growing needs. In the early months of 2024, the company returned to Mango Fund for a second loan to purchase an Automatic Color Paver and Block Machine. This investment is expected to enhance production efficiency, meet increasing customer demand, and strengthen the company’s position in the concrete products market.
